What went down
From the Creator Market where Motor City designers sold their goods to the job fair where Midwest professionals connected with forward-thinking employers, the Detroit Creator Awards were a true celebration of local community. Guests connected over noshes from local food trucks, Detroit makers demonstrated the art of screen printing, and Shinola CEO Tom Lewand and Chief Brand Officer of Ford Musa Tariq hosted Master Classes.

At the award ceremony, finalists gave passionate pitches about how their projects are creating change, and several winners across categories took home funding to make their goals reality. Musician Wyclef Jean closed out the evening with an inspired performance that brought the crowd to their feet.
